Technical details: This wine was picked by hand, fermented in open-top vats, extracted by hand (pigeage) and after alcoholic fermentation it matured in old oak barrels for 12 months. The wine is bottled without fining or filtering.
Style: This is Merlot as its purest! It's picked by hand and naturally fermented. This is a delicious wine with ripe fruit aromas such as blackberries and cherries. It's ready to be consumed, but can be forgotten to the cellar for a while.
Recommendation: We recommend to enjoy this wine either on its own, just as it is, or put together with a delicious meal. Rich vegetarian dishes like melanzane alla parmigiana or veggie lasagne are Nea's personal favourites. Also, proper steak frites goes quite well..
The wine is vegan friendly as we have not used animal-based products in the production. The label is designed by Jenna Kunnas.
